EAA’s first Green Swap Event “Sharing is Caring”

The Environment Action Association (EAA) andHeyKorean held their first green swap event "Sharing is Caring" in Ksany Hall on December 20th 2011. Indeed sharing is caring so this event was created to spread the message about the value of reusing items in local communities.

Swapping cloth is a unique way to help save money, reduce the number of clothes sent to landfills while making better use of the used items.

About 20 attendees were in present at the Green Swap with bags full of new and once used cloths from home. The cloths and accessories were set up nicely at Ksany Hall. Every participant was thrilled with the items they swapped. They were also pleased to commit to sustainable living habits.

Green swaps are highly developing among New Yorkers. In this regards, EAA will be having more green swap events with the goal of promoting awareness on sustainable living life.
